Shopping in Torremolinos is fantastic you won't find any cars on the Calle San Miguel (map) as it's just for pedestrians. You can leisurely stroll the walkway and discover a number of shops and boutiques selling souvenirs and local merchandise. Shoes, clothes, pottery and jewlery are all popular items.
There are about 7 jewelry stores owned by Indians (Hindus). They are quite reasonable in price and have high quality. One can bargain in these stores. One of the best is Joyeria Sadhwani at Calle San Miguel, 11. The owner is very knowledgeable and tries to please customers.
Les Tres Torres, Calle San Miguel 17 – sells lots of items made from Toledo steel, ceramics and jewelry.
Montinas Gift Shop , La Nogalera 26, sells a variety of gifts and souveniers.
Guitarras Maldonado on Avda. Isabel Manoja N-4 , 952 385 833 , stop by to watch Pedro Maldonado and his sons making Spanish guitars by hand, or purchase one to take home.
There is also a weekly, outdoor market held every Thursday morning at the back of the town hall on Calle Horacio Lengo, near Aqualand(map)
On the main Avda La Mallorca which is the road at the top of Calle San Miguel, there are plenty of shops for women. There is a Berska which you recently have opened in Oxford Street, Lefties which is Zara seconds, and a few more boutiques. In calle San Miguel you have Mango, and further down Stradavarious and in the Plaza Nogalera Zara itself. The prices here are of course euros so never buy anything from Zara, Mango or Berska while visiting the UK as its dearer.
The El Corte Ingles is in progress of being built, it's complete and waiting for an opening date. This is like a spanish department store and quite reasonable. There are many scattered boutiques around the backstreets and along the beach fronts. There are some very cheap shops selling leather bags etc, if you go past the rock on the beach. Alternatively you can get a train to Malaga Renfe and visit the Larios Center. It's a shopping center with shoes and clothes and all the usual. The next stop to Malaga centro takes you to the massive El Corte Ingles in Malaga.
